We proudly announce the launch of our “Know Your CRC History” social media campaign. This campaign focuses on educating consumers on their family medical history and if that involves colorectal cancer.
Our recent nationwide survey shows an alarming gap in awareness of colon cancer risk. 80% of Americans admit they aren’t sure if they have a first-degree relative with colorectal cancer, emphasizing the need for increased education to facilitate early screening. Thousands of Americans can be at risk for colorectal cancer and not even know it.
There is a significant gap in education around colorectal cancer and family history, and the “Know you CRC History” campaign is launching to help bridge the gap. This campaign will encourage others to take proactive steps in knowing their medical history and what they might be at risk for, especially colorectal cancer.
